Are there any significant moments you’d like to share?
Connie: She said that I'm "iconic," and I had to ask her what it means - since it has a newer meaning than the one we used to use. And she wished me a “happy birthday” during the very first hour of my birthday. She took me downstairs to meet her mom; that was cool.
Nicole: I always love to hear about her family, and it was so interesting to hear about a person in her family that goes horseback riding. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and it was great to be able to talk about my interest in that.
What do you love about your partner?
Connie: She loves music, and during the school year she has her own radio show which I think is really cool!
Nicole: I love how kind and genuine she is, her love for music and life, and the stories she tells. She is so interested in hearing about my life, and I love that. I also love that she is a Houston Rockets fan like myself. She always seems so happy to talk to me!
